The bag is used to minimize the consequences of a failure (e.g. short circuit or puncture) of the Li-Po battery. However, it does not guarantee 100% protection against the effects of a failure. Therefore, the most important thing is to comply with all safety rules related to the handling of Li-Po packs. In the event of a battery pack burning, the task of the bag is to minimize the amount of air in its surroundings and, as a result, smother the fire.
